This policy covers the ScreenTool account and licensing service at license.screentool.org.
Your email address, display name, which sign-in provider you used, your license tier and purchase records (plan, amount, date). That is the whole list.
Card numbers and billing details are handled entirely by Stripe. These pages set no tracking cookies and run no analytics or ads. Your recordings, screenshots and projects stay on your computer: the ScreenTool app does not upload them.
If you sign in with Google, Apple or Facebook, the provider shares only your name and email address with us, and only when you complete a sign-in.
Account data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. We do not sell or share your data with anyone except Stripe (payments), and only as needed to process your purchase.
We may send you occasional service or product emails. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
You can ask for a copy of your data or full deletion of your account at any time via the contact page. Deletion removes your account and license records, subject to payment records we must keep for accounting.
ScreenTool.org is based in New Zealand and handles personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
